social development in the midst of demographic change calls for new housing forms and residential communities. instead of family life at the outskirts of the city, archipelago is oriented to an urban way of living that fits today’s lifestyle. the project aims for diversity, flexibility and development potentials. this meets the new demands of scale, infrastructural

 


networking and diverging interests. the project centers around the enhancing value of green surroundings, which makes the development of an attractive open space concept for the new residential complex a very important aspect, in order to ensure the viability of the urban development concept. being “supplied with” modern living space and a diversity of green

 


 

spaces in the place of residence leads toidentification and ensures that the residents will enliven and care for their surroundings.

archipelago is an car-free “residential complex of short distances” – a residential island in the mist of an urban landscape with the most diverse qualities of usage.
